TIME

I do feed into the spiral of time

to hold back the second hand

I always will try

another day past

the sun slips from the sky

I almost missed it

I saw it from the corner of my eye

why time moves so fast

I never will know

how I seem to get older

and my kids seem to grow

go to work take walk

maybe drink a beer

blink my eyes

kiss my wife

theres another year

so while Im on this earth

I'll do what I can

to be a good husband

a good dad

a good man
