PLAYING WITH WORDS AGAIN!!!! LOL

TWIGHTLIGHT SNEEKS UP AGAIN

I USUALY FROWN BUT KNOW I SHOULD GRIN

STARTING EACH DAY WITH GOODBYE AND NOT HELLO

MAKE IT HARD ON A SIMPLE MAN YOU KNOW

PARTING EACH OTHE RATHER THAN DOING SOMETHING TOGETHER

MAKES THE CALM IN OUR LIFE SEEM LIKE NASTY WEATHER

THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO MAKE MONEY EACH DAY

SO WE CAN STAY TOGETHER AND NOT GO AWAY

THE DAILY GRIND SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF ME

MY JOB MAKES ME MISRABLE I KNOW YOU ALL SEE

SO JUST FOR NOW I WILL DO WHAT I CAN

SOONER OR LATER WE WILL HAVE OUR FEET IN THE SAND

Just Thinking....

March 21, 2013

Been a long time since I have been on here

I’m so busy I cant think clear

I have to take time to sit and reflect

Or it is only me I seem to neglect

My days grow shorter nights do too

Never enough time for things I want to do

Same old Same old everyday

Sleeping and working my life away

Weekends are fleeting they go so fast

No matter how hard I try to make them last

One of these days I will sit and rest

In a chair in the sand with the sun on my chest

Until then I will hold on to that thought

And give thanks to God for all I have got

Enjoy yourself......

Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as a wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself,
It's later than you think.

You work and work
For years and years
You're always on the go.
You never take a minute off,
Too busy making dough.
Someday, you say, you'll have your fun
When you're a millioniare.
Imagine all the fun you'll have
In some old rocking-chair.

Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as a wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.

You're gonna take that ocean trip
No matter come what may.
You got your reservations
But you just can't get away.
Next year, for sure, you'll see the world,
You'll really get around;
But how far can you travel
When you're six feet underground?

Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly a as wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.

Get out and see the world...

You worry when the weather's cold,
You worry when it's hot.
You worry when you're doing well,
You worry when you're doing not.
It's worry, worry all of the time,
You don't know how to laugh.
They'll think of something funny
When they write your epitaph.

Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink.
The years go by, as quickly as wink.
Enjoy yourself, Enjoy yourself
It's later than you think.

CASH

I dont have enough money to buy modern art

I dont have enough cash to fix my old car

I dont have enough funds to eat fancy dinners

I hang out with losers but we all think were winners

We have just enough money to buy friday night beers

We have just enough cash to drown out our fears

We fave just enough funds to make our bills

but dont leave nothing out we may be tempted to steal

Cash and checks change and ends

We are all striving for more dividends

We get on the starting line day after day

but week after week were still in the same place

Im not gonna win the lottery not even a chance

Im sorry 175,000,000 to 1 thas the odds that you get

Nobody rich in my family to leave me any wealth

I guess I should be happy that I have my health

Cash and checks change and ends

We are all striving for more dividends

We get on the starting line day after day

but week after week were still in the same place

Anxiety & Stress

Top 21 Ways To Deal With Anxiety Disorders & Stress

stress and anxiety

Stress, depression and anxiety disorders are psychological challenges faced by many people. Most psychological problems can be averted if you know how to properly manage your mind and not letting it get out of order. Managing your mind is like tending to a garden. If you do not tend to it in a disciplined manner, unwanted weeds and undergrowth will overwhelm it. On the other hand, if you manage your garden with tender loving care and plant it with good seeds, then you will reap a good harvest.Anxious man's picture
In other words, if you consistently bombard your mind with worrisome thoughts, anxiety and stress will set in until it gets out of control. Seeding your mind with good and resourceful thoughts will ward off a breakdown and will keep your mind in tip top levels.
Do you know that the fear of anxiety attacks by itself is the main trigger to cause anxiety attacks? Just by learning how to deal with anxiety has helped thousands of sufferers stop these problems in it’s tracks.

This should be the first step, among others, and listed below are the top 21 stress & anxiety management techniques that you can do on your own. All of them are proven to work well and will lessen your worries and should be part of your overall self-management strategy. Remember, manage your mind well using these psychological and physiological tips and you will live a positive and fulfilling life, free from stress and anxiety attacks.
1. Change your diet. Following a balanced diet is not only good for your weight and general health, but is a proven stress & anxiety management technique. You should never starve yourself and always eat breakfast – skipping breakfast results in low sugar levels, which in turn might bring up anxiety-like symptoms. Eating food rich in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium helps reducing stress and so does avoiding refined sugar.
2. Reduce the intake of caffeine – limit your caffeinated beverages to one per day or switch to decaf. The large amounts of caffeine will induce anxiety symptoms and might lead to sleeping troubles as well.
3. Vitamin B will help you in your battle with anxiety disorders and stress. Most doctors will advise you to increase the intake of foods, rich on B vitamin, or take it as a supplement. Click here for resources on Vitamin B and its calming effects.
4. Exercising is an excellent stress & anxiety management technique – it eases the symptoms of anxiety and stress. During exercise endorphin is released and that helps in boosting your mood. Medical practitioners recommend at least 45 minutes daily exercise from up to five days per week and this can be aerobic, walking, or cardio.
5. Massages help in decreasing stress and anxiety levels. If you start feeling anxious at work or don’t have the time to visit a professional masseur you can give a quick and discrete neck and hands self-massage right there in your office.
6. Analyze and face your problems and fears. If you are suffering from phobia you should never try to face your fears “head-on”, but gradually, with the help of a professional, learn to accept situations that you find terrifying. Take proactive approach to your problems, do not leave your chores and tasks for the last minute, this only increases your stress levels.
7. Think positive. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. You might have heard of this already, but this is in fact a simple, yet powerful stress & anxiety management technique. If you start having negative thoughts and excessive worries you can force yourself to think about something pleasant and enjoyable. Immediately you will start feeling better and calmer.
Suppress negative thoughts – do not underestimate the power of your own mind. You are in control and you can decide to push your negative thoughts away and replace them with happy ones. A simple technique is to imagine that you are in a better place – close your eyes and “see” yourself sitting on the beach, listening to the splash of the ocean waves – this will calm you down and help you reduce your stress levels.
8. Take action. If you have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, take action – this will give you a sense of control and in turn reduce your stress and anxiety. Start seeing a mental health professional, join an anxiety support group, join the gym, start exercising, take any action and you are already a winner.
9. Manage your “worry time”. Many people worry about events that are far ahead in the future. Why worry now if you can worry later? If you can take practical steps to solve a problem, by all means take them, but there is no need to worry excessively as this will only increase your anxiety.
10. Write down your worries and fears. Once you put it all down on paper, you might find out that you worry about events that you have no control over (they will either happen or they won’t) are small and insignificant matters. In that case simply stop worrying about them – keep your strength for the big challenges in your life.
11. Don’t worry what other people think or say about you. This is very helpful for people who suffer from social anxiety disorders. You don’t need other people’s approval in order to lead fulfilling and exciting life, and the sooner you realize this simple truth, the less stressed out you will feel.
12. Sex is one of the most wonderful and pleasant stress & anxiety management techniques. Large amount of endorphin, which is a feel-good hormone, is released during sex and this explains why all people are happy after having sex. Studies have proven that sex and orgasms boost mood and reduce stress levels. Even though most of us lead busy lives, you can always find time for sex.
13. Practice deep breathing – many health professionals will be able to show you breathing exercises, which you should keep practicing. Once you sense some physical or mental signs of anxiety or even panic attack, start breathing deeply – this is a simple technique where you deliberately slow down your breathing and use your diaphragm. This will slow your heartbeat, relax your muscles and reduce anxiety.
14. Smile! Smiling realeases our body’s natural drugs: Serotonin and Endorphins. These hormones are natural pain killers and are also labeled as natural “feel-good” drugs. It will wash away all the tensions in your body, relaxes your muscles and take away pain. It will also instantly change the negative state that you are in into a positive one and this will in turn put you into a good mood. Smiling is also contagious and will boost your immune system.
15. Use the power of affirmations – using positive affirmations throughout the day will help you fight anxiety – if you suspect that you might be having another panic attack, you can keep repeating to yourself “I can handle this,” and “I will calm down.” Even though this might seem odd at first, it will help you feel much better. Your mind will move you towards things that you are focusing on. If you keep on saying “I will calm down”, etc, it will take immediate command of calming you down and this has instant effect.
16. Don’t be a victim – fight back! If you and your family are in good health, if you live in a peaceful country and there’s no major weather disaster coming your way, then you don’t have much to worry about. You must be a fighter and tackle your everyday tasks with ease and simply see them as minor challenges, not as something that you should excessively worry about.
17. Don’t overload yourself. If you work 12-14 hours every day and take no time off, your stress levels will inevitably rise. Know your limitations, take practical steps to reduce your workload, take time to relax and you will better manage your anxiety and stress.
18. Aromatherapy is a great way to relax – many oils like lavender, geranium, marjoram and others can help you relax and in fact have been used to help people with sleeping disorders. They are believed to relieve anxiety and stress symptoms as well.
19. Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique that is believed to reduce stress, tension, and anxiety. Studies have shown that it has positive effect, similar or better than the traditional full-body massage.
20. Focus on doing something that you like. If you have been putting off an interest, now is the time to take up the hobby. It may be keeping a pet, painting or anything that will occupy your mind. In so doing, your mind will now have new thoughts and that leaves it with no room for negative ones. Just by flushing out the unresourceful thoughts which create anxieties and replacing it with a new focus will work wonders.
21. Listen, read or watch motivational materials. Simply search Youtube.com for videos tagged with keywords “motivational” or “inspirational” and spend some time going through highly rated videos. This will almost instantly change your perspective and downplay your worries. You can also read inspirational books or talk to people who can inspire you.
Do you like the list above? Remember, the first step to conquering panic anxiety attacks is to conquer the fear of having one!

Christmas is Coming

Christmas is Coming

The smell of hot chocolate fills the house

Looking for Christmas lights I might have thrown out

When the tree is all done decorated to the max

My wife bends to plug them in

I love to watch that

The lights spring to life like a million stars

I know its only five hundred but there they are

I can see the glow on the family’s face

What good time, feeling, and place

Jimmy-Ray Perthes update 1 year later

Jimmy-Rays Perthes update 1 year later

Well yesterday Jimmy-Ray went to Scottish Rite Hospital one year after he was diagnosed with perthes. His hip is still rebuilding. Dr. Kim said that he does not have to wear his brace at night anymore. So this means no more brace. They want him to stay on his crutches for six more months applying 20% pressure to his right leg. This is all very good news! I was hoping that they where going to say no more crutches too. However he seems to be fine with it. He is one tough little dude. I am super proud of him and the way he has handled this whole ordeal. His hip will continue to heal and rebuild. hopefully in six months we can toss the crutches!!! Cant wait for this to be over with. I bet Jimmy-Ray really cant wait. Thanks for every ones prayers.

Powerball at $500 million: What to do if you win

(MoneyWatch) With the Powerball jackpot swelling to $500 million, the largest in the lottery's history, ticket holders around the country are mulling a common, if almost impossibly fanciful, daydream: What do I do if I win?
First, the grim truth: The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are roughly 1 in 175 million. To put that into perspective, the chances of getting hit by lightning in your lifetime is 1 in 5,000, according to Tim Norfolk, a University of Akron mathematics professor who teaches a course on gambling.
Of course, the jackpot has already defied the odds by rolling over 16 consecutive times without anyone hitting the big prize. And even with a reduced up-front, lump-sum cash value of $327 million, even the most jaded are tempted to purchase a $2 ticket. The previous biggest jackpot was $365 million in 2006, which was won by eight employees in a Nebraska meatpacking plant.

How the Powerball lottery works

After all, if somebody has to win, why not you? Earlier this year, three lucky winners from three different states shared a $656 million "mega millions" jackpot. That prize dwarfed the previous U.S. record of $390 million and now stands as the world's largest ever lottery payout.

For these winners, sudden wealth brings a whole raft of considerations about what to do with the windfall. If lightning strikes during Wednesday's Powerball drawing and you find yourself an instant multimillionaire, here's what you should do (based in part on my experience as a former investment advisor who once had a client who won the lottery):

1) Read the rules on the ticket and on the lottery's website. Sign your name on the back of the ticket, unless the rules forbid it. Then make a copy of it and put it in a safe deposit box. Don't feel compelled to tell the world just yet. Try to refrain from telling anyone beyond your immediate family. You can take your time before contacting the lottery authorities, but be aware that ticket expiration periods vary from state to stat, from 90 days to one year. The back of your ticket will likely detail the expiration period for your state.

2) Assemble your team (and not an entourage, thank you very much!) You need to interview estate attorneys, accountants and financial advisors. My jackpot-winning clients did something clever when they approached potential professionals: They went through the interview process by discussing their situation, but didn't disclose how much they had won until late in the meeting. That way they could tell whether an adviser treated all his or her clients with respect or just the rich ones. An important caveat: Don't hire only one money manager. You can assemble anywhere from three to six with different areas of expertise.

3) Determine whether you will accept the payout as a lump sum or in installments. At this point, the lump sum for the $500 million prize is $327 million before federal taxes are applied and $245.2 million after-tax. Conversely, you could choose to receive annual payments over 29 years, which would amount to $16.6 million a year pre-tax and $12.5 million after taxes. This does not include state or city taxes, which would further reduce your take. You have 60 days, after you claim your ticket, to make the decision.

You mostly hear about winners taking the lump sum, because they want to control the entire amount of money. This year, there could be a tax edge in taking the lump sum, since odds are good that taxes will rise next year.
The big problem with a lump sum is that winners often end up blowing the entire amount doing dumb things. Don McNay, author of the book "Son of a Son of a Gambler: Winners, Losers and What to Do When You Win the Lottery," says nine out of 10 winners go through their money in five years or less. "It's too much, too fast," he says. "Nobody is around them putting the brakes on the situation."

The stream of income ensures that you won't blow through your entire jackpot (which is why I'm a big fan of the annuity option). That said, there's a major caveat to going this route -- if you die before collecting the entire amount, the remainder of your winnings may or may not pass to your heirs. This depends on the rules of the individual lottery and the state where you win.

4) Determine the legal structure of your investment holdings. Your attorney will help determine whether you should utilize trusts, limited liability companies or even corporations. Depending on your state of domicile, each may have advantages and disadvantages in terms of taxation, as well as privacy.

Speaking of privacy, soon your secret will be out and you may be surprised by who will be sniffing around looking for "help" or offering you "fabulous investment opportunities." I advised my clients to provide for their children and to say "no" to everyone else until a financial plan is in place for your newfound wealth. There will be ample opportunity to show your largess down the road, so it's wise to keep the money under lock and key for at least a year.

That said, it's fine to splurge a little. The key is to not go crazy -- initially, keep it under $100,000. That means don't buy a new house or a Ferrari for a while, but do take your family on a fabulous vacation. And when you return, remember that you have a new job: Responsibly managing your money.

Monday, November 26, 2012

Well I hope everyone had a great Monday back at work. I sure wish I would have won that lottery on Saturday. Oh well I will make the best of what I have. I have a lot to be thankful for! My family is so awesome! every last one of them even the ones I don't see. I love all of them with all my heart. I sometimes get cranky over stupid stuff that don't even matter and I'm sorry for that. I'm only human.
I believe that my whole family knows how much I love them and accept me for the man that I am.
2013 is going to be the year I really find inner peace with all the things that bother me. I will always continue to try to be a better man than I am now. I believe that my family loves me just as much as I love them. I will always do whatever I have to do to make sure everyone knows how much I love them. Anyway Happy Monday To All!!!!!!!!!

Hundreds dig in to deep-fried turkey testicles

Date: November 24th, 2012

Illinois – Hundreds have sampled an unusual and dare-say ballsy local delicacy this Thanksgiving in Illinois: deep-fried turkey testicles.
Firing up roughly 1,200 pounds of the turkey bits, crowds dined on the so-called ‘hot nuts’ outside the Parkside Pub in Huntley for their 30th annual Turkey Testicle Festival.
Appeasing annual crowds of roughly 4,000 eager eaters, it was 1,200 pounds and no more, as pub owner Jeff Lovell expressed to the Arlington Heights Daily Herald: ‘It’s not a food I want anything left over with.’
Breading the inch to inch-and-a-half long parts in a secret recipe, which couldn’t be perhaps anything more shocking than the meat, they’re next deep fried for 15 minutes before becoming a kind of finger food.

15 years

Today is mine and my wife Julies 15th wedding anniversary. We have been through alot together.
We have had our highs and our lows but one thing that stays consistant is our love for one another.
We also have been able to remain best friends through the past 15 years. I cant even begin to express how lucky I am to have such an awesome wife, friend and mother for our children in my life. I dont know how I was so lucky to be the guy that she picked to spend the rest of her life with but I sure am glad that I was the one she picked. I could never love anyone the way that I love her. She is everything to me. I can honestly say that she has never done anything to hurt me she is always my support. I hope that I am doing my job of keeping her happy. No matter what happens in the future I know I will have my one true love there with me.

Looks like another year without a vacation, that will make two in a row. That is so laim!!
I need to get sand in my crack and have the ocean water burn my fresh shaven face.
I sure would love to smell the saltwater again. Its been way to long for me. Im drying out....
I want to hold my wifes hand and walk down the beach as the sun is setting.
Those days seem so far away now. however at the same time it feels like it was yesterday!!
My wife and I got married on the beach. Its also kind of where we fell in love with each other.
I ask myself in my mind why the hell dont I live near the beach. I feel it calling me all the time.
Anyway just wanted to try and keep this blog alive so I will be in touch again soon.
I dont have any big news right now anyway.

IM BACK!!!!!!

Well as everyone knows my computers mother board went out and I haven't blogged forever.
I'm back and got a lot of stuff to tell you about.
I will start with Jimmy-Ray we went for a check up on his Perthes Dr. Kim said stay on crutches and wheelchair for three more months. However the healing is coming along the way that it is supposed to.
The body has absorbed all the old bone tissue and the blood flow is back to the femur head. This is great news.
We have had a string of bad luck lately though. The transmission went out on our Suburban had to go buy Julie a new car. She got a 2012 Jeep Compass. Then I think a week later my mustang broke down it had a bunch of stuff wrong but I got it all fixed. Then someone close to me that I love a lot has lost there freakin mind! Five years sober and now spiraling out of control.
Two days ago my mom had to have surgery again she has a vascular disease and the found two clots in her leg. Now they are saying they didn't get them and are going to have two do it again. Boy those doctors know how to make the money. On top of all that I got a Ticket the other day! That's is count them now three this year!!! Anyway I will be be back a lot more often now. Peace and Love!!!!!

Anxiety!!!!

Dealing with anxiety and fighting it every step of the way. I was diagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks about five years ago. Since then I started taking clonazepam that helped a lot with my anxiety but was still having some problems. Now I take 2 milligrams of clonazepam and 15 milligrams of buspar.  I am almost normal again whatever that means. The only real reason for me putting this on my blog is so the people that are living with anxiety won’t ignore it. Its nothing to be ashamed of and I only go to the psychologist once every 6 months. I am doing well but I’m sure I will still battle with it to some extent maybe for the rest of my life, however I’m always up for a good fight!!!! At least I’m not hiding it anymore and that is probably one of the worst things I did….
